On Tuesday, in the morning, at the Charleville RSL Memorial Club, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an Investiture Ceremony for residents of Queensland, recipients of Australian bravery decorations announced in August 2016, where the Governor addressed guests. 

Following, at Murweh Shire Council, Charleville, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey received a briefing on local issues from Council representatives.

In the afternoon, at the Charleville Bilby Experience, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey toured operations and received a briefing on efforts to conserve and protect bilbies.

Later in the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey returned to Brisbane.
