On Thursday, in the morning, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the official launch of the Salvation Army’s 2019 Red Shield Appeal for Queensland, and addressed guests. 

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at Hamilton Wharf, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended an Official Reception aboard HMAS Brisbane.
