On Tuesday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of Redcliffe Community Bus for Aged visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

Following, at Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received a briefing, toured the facility and met with staff.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Dinner in support of Regional Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests.  Guests included: Mr Masuo Ono and Mrs Kimu Ono; Ms Luna Angelini Marinucci; Councillor Bob Manning OAM and Mrs Claire Manning; Councillor Jenny Hill; Councillor Jack Dempsey and Mrs Christine Dempsey; Councillor Danielle Slade and Mr Jason Ranie; Ms Haylene Grogan and Mr Stephen Howarth; Mrs Emma Gibbons and Mr Russell Gibbons; Dr Robyn Littlewood and Mr Robert Kovac; Mrs Kate Hastings and Mr Bob Hastings APM.
