On Thursday, in the morning, at Herston, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD officiated at the reopening of the restored Edith Cavell Building, addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of Alzheimer’s Queensland – Garden City Multi Service Centre for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

Following, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at the Royal International Convention Centre, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency attended the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) 2022 High Tea and addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, members of the public visited for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

In the evening, at the Brisbane Show Grounds, Bowen Hills, Her Excellency attended the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) Cabinet Dinner and addressed guests.
