On Thursday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC ceased duty as Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and resumed duty as Governor of Queensland, and the Honourable Justice Margaret McMurdo AC ceased duty as Acting Governor.

Following, at the Executive Building, George Street, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
