On Tuesday, in the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC departed Government House for official travel to Charters Towers.

Following, at King’s College, The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Scribblers annual presentation of the 2019 Bedford Journal.

In the evening, at the Park Motel Restaurant, Charters Towers, His Excellency hosted a dinner in support of the Charters Towers Regional Council, and the Governor addressed guests.
