On Sunday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a ceremonial tree planting to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, followed by Morning Tea to greet Office of the Governor Alumni, and the Governor addressed guests.

 

Following, at the Royal Australian Air Force Base, Amberley, Honorary Aide-de-Camp Commander Nick Cusack RAN represented Her Excellency and attended the Australian Flying Corps and Royal Australian Air Force Association Queensland Division Bomber Command Commemorative Service, and he laid the first wreath.

 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a Picnic Day. 

 

In the afternoon, at the Masonic Memorial Centre, Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended 4MBS Classic FM’s performance of ‘I Shall Hear in Heaven’.
