On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon in support of Queensland Ballet. Guests included: Mr Li Cunxin; Mrs Barbara Duhig; Mrs Pamela Marx; Mr Mark Fenton & Mrs Rhonda Fenton; Mrs Caroline Frazer; Mr Steve Wilson AM & Dr Jane Wilson; Ms Dilshani Weerasinghe; and Ms Cecily Pearson OAM.

Following, at Government House, the Governor received His Excellency Dr Ajay Gondane, High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Australia, and Mrs Varsha Gondane.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a reception in support of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation where His Excellency addressed guests.
