In the morning, at Parliament House, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC visited the Queensland Parliament O'Donovan Library and Collection.

Following, at the Executive Building, George Street, the Governor attended a ceremony for The Honourable Justice Robert Gotterson AO and The Honourable Justice Philip Morrison to take the Oath of Allegiance and of Office enabling them, in accordance with the Constitution of Queensland 2001, to assume the role of Acting Governor as required.

Then, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received the Griffith University Council of Elders, Mrs Anne Leisha, Dr Graham Dillon OAM, Mr Fred Pabai, Mr Martin Watego, Ms Marion Russell, Professor Boni Robertson and Ms Celia Moore.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a reception for the National Federation of Australia Japan Societies Biennial Conference.
