In the morning, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Easter Day service at St Thomas’ Anglican Church of Toowong.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey departed Brisbane for an official visit to Winton, Central Western Queensland and Boulia, Western Queensland.

In the evening, in Winton, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey were hosted at dinner by Mayor, Winton Shire Council (WSC), Councillor Graham ‘Butch’ Lenton and Mrs Rosalind Lenton and CEO, WSC, Mr Tom Upton and Mrs Karen Upton.
