On Friday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Royal Commonwealth Society of Queensland’s Traditional Christmas Lunch.

Following, at Government House, the Governor received Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of Bills for Assent; and then received a visiting delegation from the Supreme Court of the Maldives, led by the Honourable Abdulla Areef, and the Supreme and National Courts of Papua New Guinea, led by the Honourable Justice Lawrence Kangwia.
