On Saturday, in the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Brisbane for official travel to Rockhampton.

In the afternoon, at the Rockhampton Art Gallery, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a function where the Governor gifted to the Gallery a Peter Indans painting and addressed guests.

In the evening, at The Empire Apartment Hotel, Rockhampton, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a community reception where His Excellency addressed guests.
