In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, greeted students and staff from Brisbane Boys’ College.

Following, at the Anglican Church Grammar School, the Governor attended a reception and assembly, in the presence of His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO.

In the afternoon, at Parliament House, the Governor attended the Duke of Edinburgh's International Gold Awards and Volunteer Recognition Awards presented by His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO.

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey welcomed His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO, to Government House.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Club, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Dinner in the presence of His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO.
