On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia, His Excellency Mr Jaime Bueno-Miranda, and Honorary Consul for Colombia, Mr Tim McLennan.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency greeted residents from Centacare Amelia House Services Belmont visiting for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens.

Following, at the Battle for Australia Memorial, Chermside, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Battle for Australia Commemoration Service, and the Governor laid a wreath.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency greeted students from Bethania Lutheran School visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at the Petrie Terrace Gallery, Brisbane City, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the Royal Queensland Art Society Biennial and Queensland Figurative, and the Governor officially opened the exhibition and addressed guests.
