In the morning, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Canberra to return to Brisbane following undertaking Administrator duties.

Also, in the morning, at the Executive Building, George Street, Acting Governor, the Honourable Justice Margaret McMurdo AC presided at a meeting of Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Administrator received the Ambassador of Japan to Australia, His Excellency Mr Sumio Kusaka and Mrs Ikuko Kusaka.

Also, in the afternoon, at the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane Showgrounds, Mrs de Jersey attended The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (RNA) 2015 ‘Inaugural’ Fund Raiser: Supporting Children from Drought Affected Queensland.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Showgrounds, His Excellency the Administrator attended the 2015 RNA Cabinet Dinner as guest of the RNA Council and President, the Honourable Justice David Thomas.
