On Tuesday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea in support of the launch of the BUSHKids’ history book, ‘BUSHIES: Stories from the first 80 years of BUSHkids – the Royal Queensland Bush Children’s Health Scheme’ where the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted staff and their families at the official switching on of the Government House Christmas Lights.
