On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon in honour of Mr Bill Robinson AO and Mrs Shirley Robinson. Guests included: Mr Bill Robinson AO & Mrs Shirley Robinson; Mr Tim Fairfax AC & Mrs Gina Fairfax; Professor Susan Street AO; Mr Philip Bacon AM; Mr Robert Brownhall & Mrs Sarah Brownhall; Mr John McDonald; and Ms Cecily Pearson OAM.

In the evening, at Customs House, Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Consular Corps of Queensland Annual Christmas Dinner where His Excellency addressed guests.
