On Tuesday, in the evening, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in recognition of outstanding Queensland contributors, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: the Honourable Justice Paul Freeburn QC and Ms Joanna Jenkins; Dr Jackie Huggins AM and Mr John Huggins; Mrs Janine Schmidt AM and Mr Barry Schmidt; Mr Noel Whittaker AM and Mrs Geraldine Whittaker; Mr Daniel O’Connor OAM; Dr Alan Campbell and Mrs Margaret Campbell; Mr Ross Perrett and Mrs Jenny Perrett; Professor Hugh Possingham and Mrs Karen Possingham; Mrs Kate Hastings and Mr Bob Hastings APM; and Ms Yolande Yorke.
