In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a morning tea held for Government House Alumni.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey welcomed members of the public to an "Open Day", celebrating Queensland Day and Queensland Week, featuring tours of Government House and gardens, presentations and displays by the Office of the Governor.

In the evening, at the Commissariat Store, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the annual Queensland Day Dinner, hosted by the Royal Historical Society of Queensland, where the Governor delivered an address.
