On Saturday, in the morning, at Logan Metro Sports Centre, Logan, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the ‘Logan Loves Volunteers’ Thank You Breakfast and Volunteer Awards where the Governor addressed guests and presented Logan City Council bravery awards.

In the afternoon, at the Australian-American War Memorial, Newstead, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Australian-American Association’s 75th Anniversary Memorial Service of the Battle of the Coral Sea where His Excellency inspected the guard and laid a wreath.

In the evening, at the Lyric Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended Queensland Ballet’s performance of ‘Swan Lake’.
