On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted Investiture Ceremonies for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2021 Australia Day Honours List: Professor David Scott OAM; Corporal B; the late Dr Adrian Allen OAM (received by Mrs Patricia Allen); Mrs Radmila Desic AM; Mr John Robert Corless OAM; Mr Gary William Cotterill ASM; the late Mrs Diana Jill Dick OAM (received by Mrs Belinda White); Mrs Angel Dixon OAM; and Ms Roberta Leigh Embrey ACM.
