In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted breakfast in the presence of His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO. Guests included: Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, The Honourable Jarrod Bleijie MP; Chairman, Queensland Rail Board, Mr Michael Klug AM; Private Secretary to His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex KG GCVO, Mr Tim Roberts; Official Secretary, Office of the Governor, Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM; and Deputy Official Secretary, Office of the Governor, Ms Cecily Pearson.

HRH Breakfast

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey farewelled His Royal Highness from Government House, and then, at the Executive Building, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor received Ms Julie Steel, Mr Ken Wells and Ms Karen Baines.

In the evening, at the Queensland University of Technology, Gardens Point Campus, the Governor attended the G20 Global Business Challenge Gala Awards Ceremony and Dinner and presented the first prize to the winning team.
