On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Battle for Australia Memorial, Chermside Historical Precinct, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Battle for Australia Commemoration Service and the Governor addressed guests and laid the first wreath.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of Caboolture U3A visiting for a guided tour of the house and gardens. 

In the afternoon, Her Excellency departed Government House for official travel to Gold Coast City Council.

Following, at Broadbeach Bowls Club, Her Excellency attended the World Bowls Championships.

Following, at Government House, members of the public visited for a guided tour of the gardens.

Following, at Bond University, Robina, Her Excellency attended the opening of the Bond Institute of Health and Sport North Building and the Governor addressed guests and unveiled a plaque.

In the evening, Her Excellency returned to Government House from official travel to Gold Coast City Council.
