In the morning, in Central West Queensland, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey, departed Winton for Boulia, Western Queensland.

On arrival in Boulia, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey were hosted by Mayor, Boulia Shire Council (BSC), Councillor Rick Britton: at a community morning tea at the Boulia Shire Hall; visited and toured the Min Min Encounter Centre; and then at the Australian Hotel, attended a lunch hosted by Mayor Britton, joined by BSC Councillors and staff, and received a briefing on local issues.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey visited and toured the Boulia Stone House Museum, before departing Boulia for return to Brisbane.
