On Thursday, in the morning, at the Executive Building, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, the Governor, with Mrs Kaye de Jersey, officially opened the Royal Agricultural Society of Queensland’s 152nd anniversary Toowoomba Royal Show and addressed guests.
