On Friday, in the afternoon, at St Brigid’s Church, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey paid their respects to family and friends of the Honourable Martin Moynihan AO QC prior to his funeral.

Following, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon reception in support of the Australian Council of Education Leaders, Queensland, where His Excellency addressed guests. 

In the evening, at the Royal International Convention Centre, Brisbane, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Centenary Gala Ball for the Churchie Old Boys’ Association.
