On Friday, in the morning, at Brisbane Showgrounds, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the opening of the Ekka 2020 Strawberry Sundae Drive Through. 

In the evening, at the Powerhouse, New Farm, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Queensland Ballet production Lights On – 60 Dancers: 60 stories.
