On Monday, in the morning, at Tattersall’s Club, Brisbane, Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Lyceum Club Brisbane annual Christmas Morning Tea.  

In the evening, at Ithaca Creek State School, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the Ithaca Creek State School Farewell Night where the Governor addressed guests and presented the Paul de Jersey Award Academic Award to Miss Lucy Kerr and Miss Chloe Butler.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a dinner in honour of Mr David Chiu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Far East Consortium International Ltd, guests included: Mr David Chiu; Mr Andrew Chiu; Mr Chris Hoong; Mr Craig Williams; Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM and Mrs Julie Gower; and Ms Cecily Pearson and Mr Trevor Farrell OAM.
