On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Queensland University of Technology, Gardens Point campus, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland University of Technology Installation Ceremony of the sixth Chancellor, Ms Anne Sherry AO and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received the Ambassador of Ireland, His Excellency Tim Mawe and Ms Patricia McCarthy.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a reception in support of Queensland University of Technology Chancellor Installation, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the 2022 Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council Awards for Excellence and the Governor addressed guests and presented an award.
