In the morning, at the Wesley Hospital, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended a ceremony to officially open the newly expanded Dr Russell Stitz Operating Theatre Complex, where the Governor addressed guests and unveiled a commemorative plaque.

In the evening, at the QPAC, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Queensland Pops Orchestra performance of ‘With Honour We Serve’.
