On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received His Excellency Mr Fook Seng Kwok, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Australia and Mrs Pearl Lee.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted a luncheon in honour of the arts sector in Queensland. Guests included: the Honourable Justice David Thomas, Deputy Chair, Queensland Ballet; Mr Chris Freeman AM, Chair, Queensland Performing Arts Trust; Emeritus Professor Roly Sussex OAM; Ms Linda Apelt, Chair, Screen Queensland; Mr David Conry, Chair, Queensland Museum Network Board; Ms Leilani Pearce, Chairperson, Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts; Dr Sally Pitkin, Chairman, Opera Queensland; Mr Greg Wanchap, Chairman, Queensland Symphony Orchestra; Emeritus Professor Richard Fotheringham, Deputy Chair, Queensland Theatre Company; and Ms Cecily Pearson OAM.
