On Saturday, in the morning, at the Australian - American Memorial Newstead, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea commemorative service and the Governor addressed the guests and lay the first wreath.

In the afternoon, at Sofitel Brisbane City, Her Excellency attended Share the Dignity, high tea and the Governor addressed the guests.
