In the morning, in the United Kingdom, at Australia House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC met the High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, the Honourable Alexander Dower AC and then met Head of the Australian Defence Staff and Defence Adviser, UK Defence Attaché, Ireland and the Netherlands, Brigadier Bill Sowry AM, CSC.

In the afternoon, at the Veterans Aid headquarters, the Governor met Chief Executive Officer, Wing Commander, Dr Hugh Milroy OBE.

Following, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey visited the Australian War Memorial at Hyde Park Corner, where the Governor laid a wreath in memory of the distinguished service of men and women from Queensland who fought during World War I.

Afterwards, the Governor met G20 United Kingdom Sherpa, Mr Tom Scholar.

In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a reception at the Royal Courts of Justice.
