On Thursday, in the afternoon, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland, and then greeted students from Hamilton State School, Brisbane, visiting for a tour of the Parliament.  

Following, at Government House, the Governor greeted members of the public visiting for guided tours of the House.
