On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO received Consul-General of Japan, Mr Kazunari Tanaka, Mrs Hiromi Tanaka, and Deputy Consul-General of Japan, Ms Chieko Masuda.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a luncheon in in recognition of Queensland’s Emergency and Rescue Services Stakeholders, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: The Honourable Mark Ryan MP; Commissioner Katarina Carroll APM; Commissioner Paul Stewart APM; Commissioner Greg Leach; Acting Deputy Commissioner Steven Zsombok; Mr Graham Kingston; Mr Michael White; Mrs Kate Hastings; and Ms Angela Giles.
