On Sunday, in the morning, at St James’ Cathedral, Townsville, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the Sung Eucharist Service, where the Governor delivered the second reading.

In the afternoon, at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Australia v Canada Commonwealth Games Women’s Basketball game.
