In the morning, at St John’s Cathedral, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the ceremony for the laying up of the old Queen’s and Regimental Colours of the 9^th Battalion, the Royal Queensland Regiment (9 RQR).

In the evening, at the Gallipoli Barracks, His Excellency the Administrator and Mrs de Jersey attended the 9 RQR Gallipoli Centenary Dinner, where His Excellency the Administrator presented the Brigadier Amies Cup and delivered an address.
