In the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Zonta International President, Ms Ute Schultz; Zonta International Convention Chairman, Judy Gordon; and Zonta Convention Committee member, Mrs Judith Anderson.   

 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. 

 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted the Government House Christmas Reception, and the Governor addressed guests. 

 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Christmas Dinner. Guests included the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier and Minister for the Olympics and Dr Reza Adib; Commissioner, Queensland Police Service, Katarina Carroll APM and Mr Michael Carroll; Mrs Rachel Hunter PSM, Director-General, Department of the Premier and Cabinet and Mr Peter Hunter; and Mrs Kate Hastings and Mr Bob Hastings APM.
