On Thursday, in the morning, at St George Cultural Centre, St George, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, with Mrs Kaye de Jersey, officially opened the 46th State Conference of the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (Queensland), where the Governor addressed guests.

Following, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey returned to Brisbane.

Following, at Government House, the Governor greeted students and staff of Mapleton State School visiting for morning tea and a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, the Governor presided over a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.
