On Wednesday, in the morning, at The Greek Club, South Brisbane, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Public Safety and Integrity Agencies International Women’s Day event, and the Governor addressed guests.  

Following, at 1 William Street, Brisbane City, Her Excellency attended the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) International Women’s Day event, and the Governor addressed guests.  

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of Carers Queensland visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens. 

In the afternoon, at the Royal Flying Doctor Service Brisbane Base Hangar, Brisbane Airport, Her Excellency attended the Royal Flying Doctor Service International Women’s Day Sunset Reception, and the Governor addressed guests.
