In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an Investiture Ceremony for residents of Queensland, recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced on the Queen’s Birthday 2014 and Australia Day 2015; and recipients of Australian Bravery Decorations announced on 18 August 2014: Mr Peter James Drysdale AM; the Honourable Demetrios (Jim) Fouras AM; Mr Ross Llewellyn Wiseman AM; Mr Lawrence William Woods AM, DFC; Mr Benjamin Luke Carroll BM; Sergeant Elizabeth Watson Burns-Hutchinson APM; Detective Sergeant Samantha Garrett APM; Superintendent Dale Richard Pointon APM; Senior Sergeant Stephen Richard Trotter APM; Mr Frederick Charles Ainsworth OAM; Mrs Vanessa Elizabeth Bull OAM; Mr Michael John Cosgrove OAM; Mrs Robyn Louise Dealtry OAM; Professor Paul Russell Martin OAM; Mr Walter Cecil Miller OAM; Mr Peter William Skewes OAM; Mr Christopher Brian Tanner OAM; and Mrs Wendy Susan Tisdell OAM. Commendations for Brave Conduct: Senior Sergeant Michael James Pearson; and Senior Constable Michael Rasborsek. In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted an Investiture Ceremony for residents of Queensland, recipients of Australian Bravery Decorations announced on 24 March 2014 and 18 August 2014: Mr Trevor Mark Davis BM; Mr Locke William Finch BM; Mr Amos John Mills BM, Federal Agent Mathew Evan Seneviratne BM; and Mr Robert Allen Skewes BM. Commendations for Brave Conduct: Mr Angus Robert Anderson; Senior Constable Damon Edward Bishop; Mr Garry Scott Hayes; Mr Ryan Mark Higginbottom; Mr David Micheal Rangi Holmes; Mr Robert Shane Scott; Senior Constable Amit Singh; Mrs Kylie Sheree Smith, and Group Bravery Citation; and Mrs Sharon Maree Vaughan. Group Bravery Citations: Ms Kathleen Margaret Allen; Mr Michael David Higginson; Mr Peter John Price; Mr Andrew James Rosier; Mr John Steven Teske; and Mr Michael Shane Wallace.
