On Monday, in the morning, at Brisbane School of Distance Education, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey met staff and students and toured facilities.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea, attended by survivor of the USS Lexington CV2, Mr Cecil Wiswell,  where His Excellency addressed guests.
