On Friday, in the afternoon, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO departed Government House for official travel to Townsville.

In the evening, at Jam Corner, Townsville, His Excellency attended a working dinner with Mayor, Townsville City Council, Cr Jenny Hill, and distinguished guests, and His Excellency addressed guests.
