On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC received the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk, Premier of Queensland, for a regular meeting.

Following, at Government House, the Governor received Mr Michael Ries, Deputy Clerk of the Parliament, for the presentation of four bills for Assent.

Following, at the Executive Building, Brisbane, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, the Governor attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors Gold Medal Award Dinner 2016 and presented the Gold Medal Award.
