On Friday, in the morning, at the Queensland Combined Emergency Services Academy, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended a Queensland Fire and Emergency Service Recruit Firefighter Course Graduation Ceremony where the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea in support of the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition and Festival where His Excellency addressed guests.

In the evening, at Newstead House, Brisbane, the Governor officially opened the Australian American Association’s Federal Conference and addressed guests.
