On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Brisbane, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC presided at a meeting of the Executive Council of Queensland.

In the afternoon, at the Queensland Police Service Academy (Brisbane), Oxley, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey attended the induction parade for graduating recruits from Intake 4 of 2016 of the Recruit Training Unit, where His Excellency addressed guests.
