In the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC hosted at breakfast the Premier of Queensland, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP.

Following, at the Executive Building, George Street, the Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the evening, at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a dinner in support of tourism in Queensland. Guests included: the Honourable Kate Jones MP; Mr Paul Martyn and Mrs Jennifer Martyn; Mr Shane O’Reilly; Dr Russell Reichelt and Mrs Margaret Reichelt; Mr Tony Edwards and Ms Fiona Stirling; Ms Julianne Alroe and Mr Peter van der Giessen; Mrs Leanne Coddington and Mr Peter Coddington; Mr Alex de Waal and Mrs Annette de Waal; Mr Daniel Gschwind; Mr Harvey Lister; Mr Rod Pilbeam; Air Commodore Mark Gower OAM and Mrs Julie Gower; and Acting Inspector Anthony Buxton.
