On Friday, in the morning, at Traditional Funerals, Burpengary, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO attended the Funeral Service for Senior Constable David Masters, and the Governor laid a wreath.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Mrs Kaye de Jersey and His Excellency hosted an afternoon reception in support of the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition and Festival, and Mrs de Jersey addressed guests.
