On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie for the presentation of a Bill, to which the Governor granted Assent.

Following, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey departed Government House for official travel to Cairns.
