On Friday, in the morning, overnight guests departed Government House.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea in support of Autism Queensland where the Governor addressed guests and presented the 2017 Creative Futures Recognition Awards. 

Following, at Brisbane Boys’ College, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the final assembly and official farewell of the Headmaster, Mr Graeme McDonald.

In the evening, at the State Library of Queensland, the Governor and Mrs de Jersey attended the Queensland Library Foundation’s Major Donor Reception where His Excellency addressed guests.
